With the merciless candour typical of a child Lodovico Terzi outlines his own personal phenomenology of our childhood. He subdivides his stories into two quite distinct but interdependent parts: the “Racconti ronchesini” in which the author pursues memories, images and persons met or perhaps only imagined by someone who confuses reality and illusion – and the “Storie di un bambino”, five brief texts that are equally fragments of an enchanted universe full of magical creatures and objects equipped with an unexpected soul. Stories written with childlike lightness and precision and the sweet yearning of memory.
