Gianfranco Bettin

Gianfranco Bettin, essayst and writer, he has long worked within the social research field. He contributes to several daily and weekly papers, among which Il manifesto and the magazine Lo Straniero-Micromega. He has published both novels (Qualcosa che brucia with Baldini&Castoldi, Sarajevo maybe and Nemmeno il destino with Feltrinelli) and essays. One of the founder of the Green Italian Party, in the late Seventies, today he is its national vice-chairman and also the deputy mayor of Venice. Nottetempo published Il clima è fuori dai gangheri (2004).
